What’s keeping me busy lately

I miss the Mel who is just random and posts whatever. 

The phones. LOL I just love iPhone so much.. lol 

Sorry for what I’m wearing.. LOL obviously, I just woke up.. This car is not a must-bring if ever there’s flood. 

I will start reading the book— 50 shades of grey soon but book 1 is still on its way. LOL So I just bought book 3 instead. lol I’ve also read the Hunger Games (finally). I also love How to Walk in High Heels. It’s like every girl’s manual.

8 foods we don’t know that can cause acne

This post is dedicated to my cousin Angela for motivating me to be active and to be a beauty blogger as well.. HAHAHAHA 

I just wanna share this to you guys. Never thought that they can cause acne.

1. Milk- though milk is kind of like healthy, but still it’s high in fat that can cause an acne outbreak. lol that’s why 2 glasses a day is enough. 

2. Energy drinks- they’re high in caffeine and you know what happens next if you take something which is high in caffeine.

3. Cheese sticks- cheese itself has fats but once deep fried it’s like 2x more. And also, deep-fried foods=not healthy at all. 

4. Rice, Pasta and Bread- these foods contain tons of carbs, which are then broken down by the body to be turned into glucose which causes acne. 

5. Bacon- one of the biggest acne outbreak trigger ever! It has tons of fat!! 

6. Ketchup- it is highly acidic which can disturb the PH levels of the body.

7. Beans and Legumes such as peas, pinto beans and soy beans- they contain a lot of carbs that can get stored in the body as sugar which can cause acne.

8. Shellfish- it has high levels of iodine that can cause an acne prone skin to breakout. 

Special trivia: some chocolates can cause an acne outbreak but not dark chocolates.

How to get a guy to like you (my comeback post)-Part 1

So.. I got no net for like a month.. But now, I’m back.. But first, thanks for the 49 comments and 27 likes and to those who reblogged it. I love you all.. 

So.. my friend  Aisha told me that I should blog something that has to do with dating. I told her that I dont wanna be a psychologist listening to people with love probs but okay.. I’ll think about that.. 

Right now, I wanna share some tips on how to get a guy to like you. I don’t know if this will work for you guys but I hope it does. I’ve asked my guy friends and I’ve come up with this list. 

1. Don’t be so obsessed with yourself. -what I mean by this is, don’t be so conscious about your appearance sooo much. Remember: too much of something won’t do any good to you. So what if your hair is dry or you’ve got a new zit? It will drive them away coz they will think that being with you is all about makeups, self-image and narcissism. 

2. As much as possible don’t talk about other guys whenever you talk to them- Why? Coz this will give them an idea that you are comparing them to someone else and guys doesn’t want to be compared. Egos. They always think that they are better than your ex and better than your next. 

3. Don’t crave for their attention. They hate attention seekers so don’t be too desperate for their attention. This will lead them in ignoring you completely. I bet you don’t want that to happen. Afterall, it should be them who’s making an effort and not you. You don’t wanna annoy them don’t you?

4. Be simple and don’t be too slutty-Guys likes girls who are simple. Who wants to date someone who’s been gangbanged by crayola? no one. Being slutty includes telling them all the guys you hooked up with or ya know being too flirty with them. They would think that if you’re this flirty now there’s a chance that you would do the same to some other guys,. And they wouldn’t trust you. 

5. Stop being a drama queen- they hate dramas. They usually dunno how to handle girl dramas. There’s a chance that they would ignore you if you tell them too much dramas. 

6. They love to be complimented- tell them how great they are though they don’t.. 

7. Show them that you care about them.- trust me, they appreciate it but they just don’t show it. Lucky you if they did tell you. 

8. Always be there for them. - Whenever they’ve got a prob, remember that they don’t need your advice, they just needed someone who’s gonna listen to them. Just tell them what you think if and when they asked for it. 

9. Show interest in things they’re interested in- If they love video games then go play video games with him,. if he loves playing the guitar or any musical instrument then show any interest or if you know how to play it, then do it together, etc.. This is a turn-on. They’ll think that you’re cool. 

10. What’s sexy? Confidence. But don’t be too over-confident. Learn how to love yourself. 

11. Don’t be too loud. -They just hate girls who talks too loud (esp those who uses curse words)—a major turnoff.,

10 tips on how to have a flat tummy (by Mel)

Been wanting to blog since lastweek but i can’t think of a certain topic, so yeah.. I’ve just decided to share this to you guys.. lol note that my tips are all based on my own experience/s. I hope it helps.

1. Do cardio atleast 3x a week. -You need to burn those fats either by running or just use any cardio machine. If you wanna do cardio outside the gym, I suggest that you do jogging or use a jumping rope. 

2. Do not eat 4 hours before you sleep at night- If you need to munch on something try eating a small portion of fruits or vegies. Our bodies digests food slower at night and thus, the food that we eat that wasn’t digested or burned turns out into muscle fats.

3. Do crunches -I think this is my ultimate favorite. Crunches can train your abs. Start with doing 3 sets with 15 reps.. Then every week, add another set until you can do 300-500reps. Google some of the crunches you feel comfy with-but I suggest do basic crunches, abnominal leg raises, V crunch and scissors. They are the easiest.

4. Drink a lot of water before and after you eat (or… just drink lotsa water)- Water helps you to eat less and you know its benefits right? Like it’s good for the skin, aids digestion, helps to keep you healthy, flushes toxins and more. 

5. Avoid eating too much sweets and drinking sodas- As you know, sugar contains empty calories and it helps you gain weight and sodas contains sodium that is hard to burn. If sodium is not burned then that will turn into fats. Remember that we don’t get calories from what we drink, but we should watch out for its sodium content. 

6. Drink Milk- Milk helps makes your metabolism faster. It can also cause a bloating feeling and can help you eat less. But lemme remind you that you should only take 1-2 glasses of milk/day. I suggest that you drink either Skim or Whole Milk. 

7. Do TRX- I’ve been doing TRX Suspension Training some time now and I must admit that I’m addicted to it because it helps me improve my core. So hi to abs!~  TRX is complete in everything-from strength to balance to core to endurance. It can help you burn calories faster and turning fats into muscles & ofcourse shredding them away.

8. Eat Low glycemic and fiber-y foods. You can google some low glycemic foods on the internet. Avoid high glycemic ones such as pastas, potatoes etc (which are bad carbs in a way & should be limited). Fiber foods just like milk, helps you have a fast metabolism and gives you a bloated feeling that would make you eat less. 

9. Don’t starve yourself. - This will only help you gain weight and have a bulging tummy. Starving yourself leads to crash diet and I don’t want you to crash diet. Crash diet is when you eat less this week then eat more the following week. You will surely eat more the following week coz you have to make up for starving yourself so much. Instead of losing weight, it would help you increase weight and have a bump on your tummy.

10. Eat Fruits and Vegetables- This is your bestfriend and Water is your boyfriend. 

So… I really really dunno what to blog.. Like fureal…But then when I’ve asked Flaine to give me any ideas she told me to blog my funny kickboxing video with Trainer Vince.. And yeah I KNOW THAT IT’S TOTALLY CRAP… lol the one who took the video doesn’t know she was singing and it was Trainer Vince who even told her that she was singing in the funny kickboxing video. 

Anyhoo, lately, I’ve been watching too much History Channel. I’ve learned a lot but… nothing beats—> The Most Terrifying Places in America.. lol It’s a must-watch.. 

This week, I’m done reading The Lost Duke of Wyndham by Julia Quinn. Can you refer any books to read?
